Euchre Unleashed — Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 6, 2026
Summary
- No accounts, no analytics, no servers storing your data. Your game progress and coins live only on your device.
- The web version collects nothing at all.
- The mobile apps show ads (Google AdMob) unless you buy Remove Ads, and purchases go through Apple or Google — I never see your payment details.
- Online multiplayer is peer-to-peer. Your display name is shared only with the people in your game, and connection data isn't stored.
Euchre Unleashed is a free euchre card game made by an individual developer. This policy explains, in plain English, what data is and isn't handled when you play — on the web at GitHub Pages, or in the native Android and iOS apps.
What We Collect
Web version (browser)
Nothing. The web version has no ads, no analytics, no accounts, and no server-side storage. Game progress is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device and never leaves it.
Mobile apps (Android and iOS)
The apps themselves don't have accounts or analytics either, and your game progress, coins, and purchase state are stored only in local storage on your device. However, two third-party functions in the native apps involve data:
- Advertising. The apps show banner ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), your IP address, and data about how you interact with ads. See Ads & Consent Choices below.
- In-app purchases. Purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchase receipts are validated through RevenueCat. See In-App Purchases below.
That's the complete list. The developer does not operate any server that collects or stores your personal data.
Third-Party Services
These services are used only in the native mobile apps (except where noted). Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob — serves banner ads. Google Privacy Policy and AdMob data practices.
- Apple App Store — processes in-app purchases on iOS. Apple Privacy Policy.
- Google Play — processes in-app purchases on Android. Google Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat — validates purchase receipts on the developer's behalf (acting as a data processor). It receives purchase receipt data and a random, app-scoped identifier — never your name, email, or payment details. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Ads & Consent Choices
Banner ads appear only in the native mobile apps — never in the web version. Your choices:
- Consent where required. In the EEA and UK, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent framework before personalized ads are shown, and you can change that choice later.
- iOS App Tracking Transparency. On iOS, the app asks permission before any tracking for ads, using Apple's standard prompt. You can decline, or change it any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android ad settings. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in your device's Google settings.
- Remove ads entirely. A one-time "Remove Ads" purchase ($1.99) disables ads completely — no ads means no ad-related data collection by AdMob in the app.
In-App Purchases
All purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. The developer never sees or stores your name, payment card, or billing information. To restore purchases and prevent fraud, purchase receipts are validated via RevenueCat, which receives the receipt data and a random identifier scoped to this app — nothing that identifies you personally. What you've purchased (for example, Remove Ads) is remembered in local storage on your device.
Multiplayer
Online multiplayer is optional and peer-to-peer: your device connects directly to the other players' devices. A signaling service is used briefly to broker the connection, which involves the transient use of IP addresses — this connection data is used only to establish the game and is not stored by the developer. The display name you enter is shared with the people in your game and no one else. If you never use multiplayer, none of this applies.
Children's Privacy
Euchre Unleashed is a general-audience card game and is not directed at children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact the email below and it will be addressed.
Data Retention & Deletion
- Your game data: stored only on your device. Deleting the app (or clearing the site's data in your browser, for the web version) permanently deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else.
- Ad consent: you can withdraw or change ad consent at any time — via the app's consent settings where the EEA/UK consent framework applies, via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on iOS, or via your device's Google ad settings on Android. Buying Remove Ads stops ad serving (and the associated collection) entirely.
- Third-party data: data held by Google (AdMob), Apple, or RevenueCat is retained under their own policies, linked above.
Changes to This Policy
If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the effective date at the top revised. Meaningful changes will be noted in the app's store listing or release notes.
